Reaper Miniatures Plague Zombie - 2102

 

I found a bunch of ghouls and ghasts - some metal and some bones and decided to give them a paint per my most recent ghast instructions.  This Plague Zombie from Reaper Miniatures was in the pile and I brought him to life as part of the group - mostly following the same color schemes.  He had a fun element of having some brains exposed in the skull which I tried to capture in the top down picture.

Painting instructions for Ghast:

Step 1: Undercoat model with black primer
Step 2: Use Suntan Flesh on all bones
Step 3: Drybrush Caucasian Flesh on all bones as highlights
Step 4: Use Woodland Brown on the leather belt/skirt and boots
Step 5: Use Dragon Blue on the tattered shirt
Step 6: Use Jungle Camo tattered pants
Step 7: Wash entire model with Devlan Mud
Step 8: Use Entrail Pink on exposed brains
Step 9: Add Solid White to Entrail Pink and highlight exposed brains
Step 10: Drybrush Concrete Grey on base
Step 11: Drybrush Arctic Grey on base
Step 12: Drybrush Solid White on base
Step 13: Use Solid Black on base

A fun and quick paint job.  Can't wait to use him on the gaming table!
